oh goodness lets just put that behind us omg. fanwars are so useless and such a waste of time and effort. and you’re right anon, i usually never state my opinion. why? bc most of the time i’m neutral or tbh i just don’t care enough to get involved. but yes, i still have an opinion either way.

my opinion: the interviewer should have not included the names of groups in his question. he should have kept it general, because in the end, his question was the base that started the fanwar. instead of saying “What is the difference between BIGBANG and other groups, like EXO or SHINee?” he definitely should have only shortened it down to “What makes BIGBANG different from other groups?” bc tbh that would have caused much less chaos between such large fanbases.

comparing idol groups and artists is so fucking stupid. what gdragon said was true, but i agree that he should have phrased it better to not upset other fanbases. but whats done is done since we have no control over his answer, because its not his job to please other fandoms anyway.

the interviewer directly targeted exo and shinee in his question, which was a huge mistake. people should honestly have more common sense. bc woAH what a huge shocker !!! 11!!11 bigbang, exo, and shinee have their OWN styles that stay true to each of them, which makes them so popular.

these three groups are all globally famous and different as fuck ok. so don’t get butthurt of who writes their own songs and who doesn’t. being the songwriter and composer to your own song is absolutely wonderful and admirable, but it isn’t the only characteristic that makes the song special or unique.

i genuinely do not want to get into an argument with anyone because that is the reason why i never in my life got involved in a fanwar. i only answered because the anon asked.

don’t make me feel bad for stating my opinion and taking no specific side in this argument. thats a dick move.

i like bigbang, i like exo, i like shinee, and i will continue to support all of them as a fan. this does not necessarily mean i have to like and please all their fans as well.
